The Wellington Region Heritage Promotion Council Inc is made up of people and organisations interested in the promotion and preservation of our region's heritage.
  

What We Do	Heritage Month.   Click to view Since 1993 we have organised and promoted Heritage Month, with a wide variety of themes, and this has had a marked increase in the public's awareness of heritage matters. Heritage awareness has also been strengthened by the provisions of the Local Government Act. Breaking News:  "Heritage and Our Environment" is to be the theme for Heritage Month in June 2010.
